Preview in embedded browser

During editing you always can preview module to see how it will be showed by embedded browser or external browser.

Embedded browser's window can be opened in two modes: full screen (by default) or as separate window (window size is calculated on the base of Slide size). To close embedded browser's window use Escape key (or Close button in separate window mode). Preview type setting could be different for each Module and can be configured in runtime settings.

LIMITATIONS

• Because of licensing and patent issues some embedded browser cannot play some media files (for example, MPG, MP3, MP4).
• Local security policy of the computer can block opening external URLs.
• Adobe Flash Player for Google Chrome is required to display Flash-movies (embedded browser uses the same plugin).
• If Flash-movie interacts with JavaScript, this interaction can be blocked by Flash Player security policies for local files. To prevent that you need to include course folder path into Trusted Locations list in Flash Player security settings.
• Flash-movies cannot use transparent window mode and always displayed in window mode.

All these limitations do not apply to preview in external browser.

To preview entire Module press the Module button in the Preview group of the Module tab (or use keyboard shortcut F5).

Module will be loaded into browser window from the start.

To preview current Slide open the Module menu in the Preview group of the Module tab and select Current slide option (or use keyboard shortcut Shift-F5).

Module will be loaded into browser window and will automatically proceed to selected Slide.
