Edit text in external editor

CourseLab allows to send text from simple text blocks to Microsoft Word for further editing and refresh the text after that keeping basic formatting. Right click on the text block and select Edit text in Word in context menu.

If Microsoft Word is installed on your computer it will be opened to edit the text. When text editing is finished, close Word window, confirm saving of temporary file with changed text. After the window will be closed CourseLab will become active and the text will be refreshed.

LIMITATION. Only basic formatting can be imported from Word (fonts, font styles, lists).

WARNING! While the text is in external editor CourseLab window "freezes" until external editor will be closed. This is normal program behavior, when you finish to edit the text CourseLab "wakes up" automatically.
